At the Marian Wright Edelman Public Library, there is a permanent display case telling the history of the Marlboro County public library (c. 1901) and the story of Marlboro County native Marian Wright Edelman, founder of the Children’s Defense Fund. Open Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-2:00pm.
