One of those places you'll be glad you took the time to see. Really cool. Open all the time pretty much. The man's son lives on the property and came to greet us and turn on a short video. What a life lived. Beautiful human

We had a lovely time here! J.D. showed us around the exhibits and shared many stories of his father's adventures as the button King, and the artistry on display was stunning. I recommend calling ahead to confirm the museum is available and that they are able to give a tour. Google maps says the museum is open 24hr, which may sorta be true since it seems the door to the museum is left unlocked most of the time, but I recommend calling in advance to confirm as I was told they close at 6 on Fridays (the day we visited).

Free, but donations appreciated. 1st pic is a suit with over 16,000 buttons on it and weighs 16 lbs. 2nd pic is a bathtub covered in buttons. 3rd pic is a button covered toilet. 4th pic is a button covered coffin. We just showed up and museum was unlocked, so we turned on the lights and looked around. Very creative. The owner was even on some talk shows. Had fun!

A must see if you are in the area. It’s in a metal storage thing building and one of the most memorable visits in all our travels. Owner is so nice . It’s a tribute to his grandfather. Got to go! No tickets no fee just donation which we made of course.
