Review: Kreepy Hollow 2025 Kreepy Hollow had a fun setup with a bus ride, hayride, and haunted house all in one. The atmosphere was lively, and the location had that perfect backwoods haunt vibe. However, this year didn’t quite live up to the hype. Some parts stood out and showed effort, while others felt underwhelming. Here’s what we thought: Cast/Actors: 6/10 The actors did a good job staying in character, especially on the bus and hayride where the energy was stronger. However, the haunted house lacked actors and scares, leaving long empty stretches. Most of the cast were children, which made things less scary and took away from the intensity. Costumes: 5/10 Costumes were simple and mostly relied on face paint instead of detailed outfits. Some didn’t fit properly, which made it hard to take the characters seriously. Adding more creativity and better quality could really enhance the experience. Customer Service/Organization: 8/10 Customer service was great. Everyone we spoke with was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Organization was mostly solid, though parking and exit signs were confusing at times. Decorations/Sets: 7/10 The sets were nicely designed and matched most scenes well. Some areas looked very detailed and gave a real haunted feel, but there were too many animatronics and not enough live interaction. Entertainment: 4/10 The midway was disappointing and felt empty. There wasn’t much to do besides wait for the bus, and the few child actors walking around couldn’t keep the energy up. Scare Score: 5/10 While we got a few decent jumps on the hayride and bus ride, most scares were predictable or too spaced out. Animatronics were overused, and the actors mainly just stood and stared instead of engaging. Walk-through Time: 50 minutes Overall: 6/10 Kreepy Hollow has a great setup and friendly staff, but this year missed the mark on true scares and atmosphere. It’s still a decent spot for families or first-time haunt visitors who prefer a lighter experience.
Oct 18, 2025 · Google ReviewMy kids absolutely love Kreepy Hollow. They have been 3 times this year already. It is all they talk about all year long till it is time to go again. My 16 yr old is trying to figure out how she can get a job there. We live 2 hours away but she is seriously trying to figure out a way to be able to actually work there. I mean seriously it is a lot of fun. I suggest you don’t bring kids that are scared when they walk into Spirit Halloween. As long as they can handle that then they will be good to go. Prepare to wait in line unless you buy the fast pass or go 30 minutes before they close. The only problem with that is the actors are tired from a long shift. They give more scare if you go earlier in the day. Try to eat something before you go if you go late at night. There is nothing to eat out there so late except for a Waffle House in Bishopville. The Food Truck is shut down at that time. Also, you will be going from a school bus to a haunted house to a haunted hay ride. So dress appropriately.
Oct 25, 2025 · Google ReviewThis was an incredible experience. If you can afford it, buy the fast pass. We didn't and the wait was about 45 minutes to an hour. This was a really cool experience that was really fun and scary. I brought my 9 and 16 year olds and they loved it. The actors are great and really get into their characters. Definitely going next year and glad we made the 40 minute drive out there.
Oct 27, 2025 · Google ReviewWhen we saw the price 25$ I thought it was super expensive. Now after having done this attraction I think 25$ is really reasonable. First you take a bus, you have two choices, Mystery bus and Horror. We decided to take Mystery. It was pretty fun. The house is well done and pretty cool. Some stuff where scary but I’m general it was fun. They did a really good job with the house and the actors. My all time favorite is the Hay Ride. It so awesome you go through a few different scenarios and they are just amazing. This place is so much fun just be aware there is a lot of waiting. We arrived at 7:40 pm and left at 10:30 pm. When we left at 10:30 there was a very long line. I think they spend at least 4 hours waiting. In case you don’t want to wait there is a Fast Pass option.
