Karen Meadows-RogersPlease visit and donate to this place. My husband, his brother, his wife, and I were immersed in the history of this place. Dr. Bethune was a huge advocate for education. I admire her and visiting her birth place made this trip extra special. Visit Bethune-Cookman’s campus and tour her home. You’ll love the history.

For my son to be able to play on the grounds of the birthplace of his ancestors is an experience I look forward to yearly. May he and the other children keep up the tradition started by the Toney family.
