⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Mayflower Seafood Restaurant is a great choice if you're hungry because the portion sizes are enormous. The Popcorn Shrimp lunch is easily large enough for two people to share. I ordered the Mayflower Special, and while it was very good, it was simply too much fried food for one meal. A little more balance with some lighter sides or grilled options would have made it even better. The loaded baked potato was tasty, although it was a bit smaller than I expected. The restaurant was very busy, even after the normal lunch rush, which says a lot about its popularity. Despite the crowd, the service kept things moving well. I also appreciated that they are military friendly, which is always a nice touch. If you're looking for generous portions, good seafood, and don't mind taking home leftovers, Mayflower Seafood Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

The food is ok...it needs more seasoning to me...this is MY OPINION...but other than that the restaurant is good and the servers are very nice and sweet

We stopped by as we were passing through from the beach. We received a mountain of food. Local seafood restaurants bring a bowl of hushpuppies to the table but they didn't here. They did bring a bowl of additional condiments with the tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and ketchup already on the table. I wasn't a fan of the tartar sauce. It had a heavy mayo flavor. Service was a little slow although it wasn't busy. I had to signal for refills, to go boxes, and the check. Overall, the food was good and we would stop by again when in the area.

Stopped back to try something different this time. Usually stop here while traveling for work. The Seafood was fresh and tasted really good. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

Traveling South bound thru the Darlington area and did a blind search for a good reviewed restaurant. We were ultimately surprised! This seafood restaurant was like an oasis in the middle of now where lol. Venue was big, staff were friendly & attentive. Great menu with numerous options. We went with the broiled and fried Mayflower Specials. Sides consisted of sweet baked potato, fried okra, coleslaw, and green beans. Food was presented well and the portions were huge. Seafood was cooked to perfection and not under or over done. We topped it off with a big piece of lemon meringue pie that was spot on delicious. We will definitely make this a regular stop on our travels. I recommend this to any folks with in proximity of the 95 corridor. 5*****
