Pamplico Public Library
The Pamplico Public Library, a vital component of the Florence County Library System, proudly serves the residents of Pamplico, South Carolina. Established in 2007 as the Dozier M. Munn Pamplico Public Library, its opening was made possible through the generous support of the Dr. Bruce and Lee Foundation. The library offers an extensive array of resources and services, including books, e-books, audiobooks, online databases, children’s programming, book clubs, and outreach initiatives with local schools.
A unique historical feature of the library is the display of original box units from the Pamplico Post Office, established in 1914 at the People’s Drug Store, with John Ely McGough as the first appointed postmaster. These box units, which changed locations and ownership over the years, were eventually rediscovered in an antique shop in Vienna, Georgia. The men’s group of the Pamplico United Methodist Church acquired and returned them to their hometown, where they now reside in the library’s lobby as a cherished piece of local history.

It's just what you would think of for a library. Took care of exactly what I needed, and it didn't take long.
