If you want peace and serenity this is the place. Easy to get to and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire place and walking in the woods. The cabin has everything you need to cook if you want. The screened in porch overlooking the pond, deck with jacuzzi and waterfall were all relaxing and enjoyable. We want out one night and watched the stars. The owner is great to work with, too. Highly recommend Hideaway Haven.

Quite backwoods cabin for rent. Great getaway for a small family or couple. Secluded with no one to bother you when doing your thing. The property sits on 100 acres of land with limited road access to most of it. The hunting stand is not in great shape, but apparently there are plans to fix it up. Plenty of deer and wildlife in the area though to get you in tune with nature. The pond was just stocked this year so the fish are quite small, but plentiful in numbers. Turtles and birds abound however. The waterfall attached to the house is an incredible addition that brings the fish in to the base of the house so you can just sit under the deck and enjoy fishing with a bobber. The house itself is fine. It has a full kitchen with tv, slow internet, and a usable fireplace. The bathroom is alright with a bit of low pressure in the shower head. Beds could use improvement, but the couch is very comfortable for those that would rather sleep there. The rooms are small, but AC was recently installed to keep them cool and comfortable. The stairs add to the feel of the cabin and it wraps it all together nicely. Outside on the deck out front it is completely screened in. Slight tear on waterfall side, but only bugs in there were spiders that crawled in through the slits in the floor. Great checkers and chairs out front to enjoy the pond and waterfall throughout the day. The back deck has a beautiful hot tub. Followed up with tiki torches and a grill that is easy to use. The table is bit enough to have a decent size meal by the waterfall with lights hung overhead to enjoy an evening under the stars. Some things not mentioned were a small shooting range for lower calibre fireharms. Looks like it isn't used much and people police it very well. The frisbee golf is alright. The spots maybe aren't the best for the course especially with the last whole being right next to the lake making it very easy for a right handed thrower to end in the lake. Other than that great spot. Some small things to look into fixing were the main door sticks a bit and drags on the floor, the lamp upstairs in the single bed room does not have a handle on the light switch, and the small tear in the screen by the checker board chair. Highly recommend and hopefully will stay again!
