This hidden gem offers amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine. The tacos, quesadillas, salad, chicken diabla, and shrimp are all flavorful and satisfying, with generous portions. I especially enjoy their free salsa and chips. Although it's situated on a small road, the quality of food and service is excellent. Prices are very reasonable considering the large portions.
Jul 26, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a spot we picked traveling from Florida to home in NC. WOW did we hit the jackpot. I will say don’t be fooled by the building, the waiter Martin is the best. He explained things and recommended items and most of all he let us try a surprise taco. Wow it was mouth watering. Hands down this is the best place to go for Mexican food. There is plenty when you order. The salsa is like no other……… packed with flavor but not overwhelming you with heat. My kids were eating it and they loved it. The sweet tea was like grandmas sweet tea. The cook knows what he is doing. If you are traveling on or around the area. Please stop in, you will not be sorry. Tell them the bald guy sent you. Please ask for Martin…… he will make sure your taken care of.
Jun 7, 2026 · Google ReviewWe were on a road trip and looking to avoid fast food when possible and this came up. This place is excellent. It's very evident they make their flour and corn tortillas. The birria was delicious and so was the consommé, plus the little kids' quesadillas were awesome too. A thoughtful restaurant and definitely worth the pit stop. Would definitely come back 🇲🇽
Jun 13, 2026 · Google ReviewI cannot rave about this Mexican Restaurant enough. My wife, daughter and myself have been fans of this family's cooking since they had that little place off of Main Street. Jacob and his family are the BEST. You always feel like you are visiting family when you walk in. The servers are outstanding and at your table repeatedly to fill your glasses and whatever else you need. When Jacob can get out of the kitchen he will be sure to stop by and chat. My favorite are these crunchy shrimp tacos along with the chimichanga. The fresh guacamole is outstanding.
Jul 20, 2026 · Google ReviewFirst time visiting. Greeted when I entered, they were extremely busy. Every table filled except for two dirty tables. They had to clear a table to seat me. If wasn't long before someone left that the table was reseated. I ordered something I never heard before and it's now probably going to be my go to meal. It was so delicious. The sandwich was great but the fries were overcooked and I couldn't eat them. I was given a couple of sauces but the sandwich was perfect without anything extra. Ordered the guacamole for my chips and you could tell it was fresh. Just could have used more salt for my taste. Except for the fries it was all delicious. I'll definitely be back but if you come allow extra time as you may have to wait for a seat to open.
