Back by popular demand, our Botanical Bitters Workshop returns to Agape Farm South to close out our 2026 season. Bitters have long served as the essential bridge between the worlds of traditional herbalism and modern mixology. This workshop is an invitation to explore that intersection through hands-on blending with farm-grown botanicals.
Whether you are an aspiring home bartender or a plant enthusiast, you will learn the delicate art of balancing bitter, sweet, and aromatic notes to create a complex, shelf-stable extract that elevates any beverage.
Your Experience Includes:
History & Herbalism: An educational talk on the fascinating origins of bitters and their traditional uses in digestive health and flavoring.
The Flavor Lab: A guided tasting and blending session where you will learn how different roots, barks, and botanicals interact.
Custom Crafting: Design and bottle your own unique blend of bitters using our curated selection of dried and fresh ingredients to take home.
Seasonal Refreshments: Enjoy herbal-infused refreshments designed to highlight the flavors we are studying.
Taste Bitter Three Ways
Price: $25.00 per person Includes all ingredients, professional glass bottling, and materials. Due to the nature of the extracts, ages 18+ are recommended.

Location: Agape Farm South | Historic Little Rock, SC (Dillon County)
Rain or Shine: This workshop is held in our covered farm space and will proceed regardless of weather.
All Sales Final: Tickets are non-refundable. However, they are fully transferable to a friend if you are unable to attend.
Safety & Liability: Agape Farm South is a working agricultural site with uneven terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear. By purchasing a ticket, guests acknowledge the inherent risks of a farm environment and agree to hold Agape Farm South and its affiliates harmless from any injury or loss.
