Racefest at the Market
The Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau invites residents and visitors to kick off race weekend at Florence RaceFest at the Market on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10AM to 3PM at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market.
This free, family-friendly event will feature a full day of racing-themed entertainment, games, activities, food and fun for guests of all ages. The Pee Dee State Farmers Market is located at 2513 West Lucas Street in Florence, near Florence-Darlington Technical College.
Scheduled activities and attractions include:
Cozy Coupe races
Arts and crafts
Carnival games
The Kenny Shelley Memorial Auto Fair
Food trucks
Inflatables, including a water slide
Live demonstrations
Remote-control car racing
Additional family-friendly activities and entertainment
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Families are encouraged to come prepared for outdoor fun and water activities as Florence celebrates the excitement of race weekend.
