Integrated Forestry Hike at the Swampside Tract
A guided hike led by retired forester Dan Scheffing and Master Naturalist Mathilde Dumond. Participants will explore the forest ecologically, visit the longleaf-pine restoration area, discuss restoration and human interactions, and look for local flora and fauna. The approximately 2-mile hike is limited to 15 participants and free of charge. Bring water, sturdy shoes, and weather-appropriate layers.
