I'm giving 3 stars because the staff was friendly and the food was hot, and so was the restaurant.... NO A/C!!! But besides that the food simply was not my cup of tea so to speak. The pork itself was tender but very vinegary with no other flavors. The collards are super sweetened, the jambalaya will burn your mouth out... It's unfortunate for me but a one and done. I hope they continue to do well as small businesses struggle but I simply wasnt a fan (won't mean you won't be though) but get that a/c fixed!!!

Good evening, my foodies! While visiting South Carolina on vacation, we decided to stop by Brown's on a Sunday, and let me tell you—it was packed! The parking lot was full, and people were even parked on the grass, so you know it's a popular spot. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was good. This was our first time visiting, and we really enjoyed the meal. One thing to keep in mind: if you choose takeout, your food is priced by the pound. It was around $6 and some change per pound, and my husband and I combined our meals, which came to about $72. Looking back, I think dining in would have been the better value. Overall, I definitely recommend Brown's if you're in the area. Just be prepared for a crowd on Sundays, especially after church, and consider eating inside if you want to save a little money. Great food, good service, and a place we'd definitely visit again!
