Hunter McCarySo I actually feel terrible because my partner and I stayed here last November for a friend's wedding that was nearby. We meant to write this review way sooner but life happens. This was seriously the best experience we have ever had at a Hotel, bed & breakfast, anything anywhere. The owner was amazing, personal, and just human. He sat with us the first night, opened a very nice bottle of bourbon and we sat in the reading room talking for hours about life. He was extraordinary and extremely hospitable. To top it off he is a professional chef and in the mornings has family breakfast where all of the guests sit at a large dining room table and eat together family style. Oak Manor brings people together in a way I had not seen before. This Anthony Bourdain tribute quote incapsulates everything about this Bed & Breakfast in my opinion and if you are currently reading this to decide whether or not you should stay there, you should and book an extra night. We did. "Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o'clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you've never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a Negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Bradley MercerWe had a great stay at The Oak Manor Inn. The host was friendly and accommodating with plenty of history to share about the house. The house itself is like something out of Southern Living magazine with original 19th century features and a gorgeous wooden paneled study. Definitely will give you house-envy. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Also; the host is an outstanding chef. Best cornbread I have ever had. Would recommend this place to almost anyone.

Keith MartinThis is a wonderful bead and breakfast in Hartsville South Carolina. Across the street from Coker University. We were here to watch for a sports event. Great location. Breakfast was fabulous and served hot. Coffee waters and snacks provided. The owners are warm and friendly. Please stay here if in the area

Tazin SumaiyaMy sister and I had a very pleasant stay at the inn. The hotel is decorated very tastefully and really stood out because of its vintage charms. The bed was comfortable and sheets were of high quality. The breakfast David kindly made for us was really delicious.
