Listen! Good grade day! This food is so out of this world! I absolutely love love love this food! The food touches my soul and is one of the dopest places to ever open! On my MOMMA! When I come to Florence, South Carolina out of every restaurant I have ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever tried Tootsie’s is one of the greatest that could have ever opened up and serve the most delicious food ever! I live in Hartsville, South Carolina and this restaurant is 33 minutes away from my house and I take a Uber every chance that I get to come here and don’t care how much it cost to get here and don’t care what my bill is after I get this food! I hate coming to Florence and not being able to be able to eat here! To be honest ever since my first time trying Toostie’s I have been hooked! And to be honest if I can’t eat at Tootsie’s when I come to Florence I really rather not eat anything from Florence because nothing hits like they do! And the atmosphere is so dope and the service and the staff is amazing even if I had to come by myself with the staff I feel like I am at home! And every chance I get in a Uber or my family or friends come down to visit I always refer them to come to Tootsie’s! 10 out of 10 the rate at 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000% ! I have even tried to DoorDash or have it delivered the food is so amazing! So my dear newcomers please do yourself a favor and please if you’re ever this way in Florence, South Carolina! Please DO NOT MISS OUT ON STOPPING BY “TOOTSIE’S EVERYTHING WAFFLE” they say “Where waffles are everything, and everything is better with waffles!”; but my saying to this restaurant is “ Where the food isn’t just food, but it’s a dream and experience you’ll never forget or want to ever miss out!” Thank you to the owner and staff for making “Tootsie’s” my VERY FAVORITE DREAM RESTAURANT to come too and my all time FAVORITE HIDDEN GEM that I want everyone all over the world to try!!!!!!!

Overall: 7/10 Presentation: 10 Taste: 7 Service: 4 I loved the fact that they were playing smooth gospel music in there on this Sunday!! I was a bit confused by the menu as it was condensed this day. However, the selection was still solid. I got pork chops with eggs and grits. She got "The OG" chicken and waffle. We also tried the shrimp and grits. Shrimp was good, the grits were soaked in the gravy so it wasn't as good. It came out kinda soupy. Taste was good, but would've better with less gravy. Wife wasn't expecting to have a honey drizzle on her chicken so she wasn't feeling it. The pork chops also had it, but it wasn't bad. Only bad thing about the pork chops was that it was fried in the fish grease and I could taste it in the skin. Service wasn't great. Server didn't ask wife if she still wanted chicken when the requested pieces (thighs) we're not available. Also, it seemed a little chaotic and unorganized, but it was busy so I get it.

The food was amazing with several waffle flavors (sweet potato, cornbread, red velvet, strawberry) 😋Also Mimi was absolutely impeccable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tootsie’s Everything Waffle is an absolute must! We tried the fried chicken, mini bites, sweet potato waffle, and shrimp & grits—and every single dish was fantastic. The fried chicken breast was incredibly juicy and seasoned to perfection, hands down some of the best we’ve had. A huge shoutout to Karliegh, our waitress—she was amazing! Her recommendations were spot on and made the experience even better. This is by far the best breakfast and fried chicken place we’ve found, and we will definitely be back!
