For those who love spending time under the stars, the Pee Dee region offers a range of campgrounds and RV parks to suit every taste and budget. Gardens
As spring blooms, the Pee Dee region’s gardens are a must-visit. Whether you’re a new visitor or a return guest, you can’t miss the breathtaking beauty of the colorful blossoms abound – the sight never gets old.

Moore Farms Botanical Garden
Kalmia Gardens, a 35-acre botanical garden in Hartsville, features stunning displays of azaleas, camellias, and other flowering plants. Moore Farms Botanical Garden in Lake City is another horticultural haven, with over 20 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and a variety of plant species.
U-Pick Farms
For a fun and interactive experience, head to one of the Pee Dee region’s U-pick farms. These farms offer a fun-filled agricultural adventure where you can pick your own fresh produce and enjoy the scenic countryside. Fill your baskets and bellies with the freshly harvested South Carolina produce and homemade goods from PNC Farms in Bishopville, Atkinson Farms in Mullins, Cottle Strawberry Farm in Florence, and McArthur Farms in Bennettsville.

No visit to the Pee Dee region would be complete without a trip to one of our bustling farmers markets. The Pee Dee State Farmers Market is a drive-thru market open daily year-round. It offers a wide range of fresh produce, baked goods, and local crafts. Meet the friendly farmers and artisans, sample some delicious treats, and take home some unique souvenirs.
