SC 250 Revolutionary War Exhibit

In celebration of America’s Semiquincentennial, the Doctor N. Lee Morris Gallery will host an exhibit of Revolutionary War artifact reproductions. These authentic reproductions are provided courtesy of the SC 250 Commission and the Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau. Items on display will include a complete authentic reproduction Continental Army uniform with shoes and stockings, along with other reproductions including mess kit items, fife, drum set, powder horn, writing quill, haversack, satchel, currency, trunk, and other miscellaneous items that would have accompanied Patriot soldiers during the Revolutionary War.

This exhibit will run from July 15, 2026, through September 30, 2026, and is free and open to the public.

The Dr. N. Lee Morris Gallery is located on the second floor of the Drs. Bruce and Lee Foundation Library in Florence. It is free to visit and open to the public during regular library hours:

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.

Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

(closed on Sundays)
