Phoenix LeDouxFirst time here! We came here because of the reviews. We were very dissatisfied. Qhile entering the parking lot we saw a bus loading to leave. We were very excited thinking the food would be freah and hot. (we were very wrong) Upon enetering the facility noone was at the desk to the right. No signage saying this way. Seat yourself. Welocome. Nothing. So we waited. When the lady greeted us it was "you need a to go container?" No. we would like the buffett. She points down there they will help you. Away we go. Noone in line. Noone at the register. Again we wait. The lady greets us with "you need a carrier?" Im sorry a what? After we figured out that it was a tray to put our drinks, straws and plates on, yes please and thank you. Hungry and ready to be seated we walked towards the end of the line and waited. Should we seat ourselves. Is someone coming. What should we do? Everyone wroking very hard at cleaning was nice to see. Oh the bus thats right. Lets just go sit. Nothing. Ok lets go to the buffett. No signs to tell what the food is. All the food looked very good. The fried chicken, okra, roasted chicken, and fish was all cold. I asked a lady who was putting food at the bar a few questions about ingredients and she then says what is your allergy. I said anything pork related. She proceeded to tell me everything had lard or somekind of pork except for mac n cheese, rutabaga, and the corn and tomatoes. Is this meatloaf? Yes should be all beef. Ill pass as a should be might land me on the hospital. I could go on about the rest of the time there trying different items but I'm not going too. Let's just say we WON'T return. WON'T recommend. We do like to support a family business. For the regular customers who have grown accustomed to the ways of the restaurant, great. But for new customers not good at all! Oh and we found it odd that there were 3 different kinds of chicken but no beef on#the buffett at a steak house. I did as a last ditch effort to find something hot asked a lady what was in this pan ... bourbon chicken.. YEAH .. it was very hot as the pan was almost empty .. 2 small scoops .. very salty, some of pieces were very hard to chew .. 4 bites in ... im done. Lets just go home.
