Lisa WolfeWe found Straw Hat Distillery on Harvest Hosts (camping app). Upon arrival: No road signage. Sign near front of building. All buildings surrounding look abandoned. Parking lot level. Business was closed when we arrived but has good reviews from current Harvest Hosts members. April 2026.

Anne BrannenI visited Straw Hat Distillery today with a group of friends and had an incredible experience. The service was excellent, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Steve made the visit even better with his knowledge, enthusiasm and hospitality. I tried several moonshines and every one of them was outstanding. I had a hard time choosing which ones to get because they were all excellent. I purchased the lemon drop and coffee moonshine today and will definitely go back for more. They were all smooth, flavorful and truly delicious. The quality and variety far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for top-notch spirits and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, this distillery is a must visit.

Carol CicconeLocally owned, super delicious quality moonshine at reasonable prices. While all of the flavors available are great, the Lemon Drop, Red Raspberry, & the Cherry Bomb are personal favorites. Mixing equal parts of the Lemon Drop & Red Raspberry yields a luscious raspberry lemonade perfect for sipping by the pool. Highly recommend!!

Travis EbyGreat selection of some really great liquors and liqueurs. Owner was very generous and knowledgeable during a tasting. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different and would like to support a small business.
