JustinJust an excellent bar all around. Prices are fair. No extra de fee. Justin is a great bartender and nice guy to chat with. They keep the place clean. It has a beautiful view. Easily accessible. Open YEAR ROUND. You heard that right. Food: I don’t believe they have food offered now, but they do allow you to bring food. There are multiple options around. I just moved to hartsville a few months ago and I go hear all the time. The Dispensary in Florence is also a great rooftop bar, but this one is the Hartsville spot no doubt. The bar by the parking lot is also great. Little more pricey but a great area. Restaurant underneath the hotel is also very good. You will not regret coming here. The bar is not particularly expensive at all.

With my wife and I, we approach public drinking with the philosophy that one high quality drink or beverage regularly, combined with a friend or friends has more value than a blowout night once a week with a great crowd. At the rooftop, you can get both, with the latter crowd more likely found and enjoyed on a Saturday night, however it is possible for a quality spontaneous crowd to be found unexpectedly on any night. However, their specialty alcoholic beverages are the main reason most visitors to Hartsville will want to visit "The Rooftop!" I have a couple of favorite bartenders, but I have to give a special shout out to Justin. As a friend and a bartender, he has learned exactly what my wife and I like and manages to make something special to our taste whenever we ask for one. I can't promise how long it will take for him to get to know you like that (an hour or so 😉?), but I can promise that it will be worth the time it takes! Because of the unique environment, atmosphere and quality beverages, it's the people that earn the rooftop the latter part of it's title: "The Mantissa!" 😍💯
