Kathy EdwardsHeaded to the beach. Look for a place to eat per internet and Genesis showed up. Read about the place decided to try man that was the best this old stuff. Food was excellent home cooking to the tea. Soul food southern cooking my belly hurts after we left I ate so much. I recommend it I will be going back again and again and again staff was friendly everybody spoke even the other customers would speak to you as they passed just a good old southern place to be . When we entered a lady from by South Carolina magazine interviewed us for her next article we were impressed. She told us it was the second best restaurant in South Carolina

JOHNNIE KELLEYMy husband and I stopped in Bennetsville to catch a midday meal on the way home from the beach. We searched places to eat on the Maps app, and I don’t think we would have found it otherwise! This place is small, but Oh my goodness! It is Full of Heart that exemplifies Real Southern hospitality! Delicious sides and Main entrees, and so much to pick from, you just have to get two plates! Everyone was so friendly, and made us feel welcomed! We will stop again, I’ve already recommended this place to my daughter.

Angela WolffTotally your grandmother’s home cooking! This family definitely knows how to cook! The Sunday buffet was loaded with a huge variety of meats AND vegetables plus bread and desserts. There was fried chicken, turkey and turkey wings, ham, ox tail stew, white corn, limas, cabbage, collard greens, yams, dressing, rice, macaroni and cheese, dumplings, and the list goes on! It was all so good we almost ate until we were sick! They had a variety of desserts too. We had the red velvet cake and banana pudding. Both were delicious. You’ll want to come here again and again. Great friendly service and the tables looked beautiful in white tablecloths and Valentine’s Day decor in the restaurant. Thank you for the best meal we have had in years.
