The building housing the Williamsburgh Historical Museum was constructed in 1916 on the site of the first public school in Kingstree. The building originally served as a Carnegie library. Exhibits include a c. 1880 canoe hewn from a single 20’ cypress log, vintage photographs and newspaper clippings dating back to 1897, and local antiques and artifacts. Open Tuesday – Thursday 10:00am3:00pm.
