On our way back from Myrtle Beach and decided to stop here, since we were going through Forence, SC anyway. So glad we did. It has memorials for all the branches of our military and the names of the men and women from SC, who gave their lives for us. Beautiful sculptures, especially the one honoring the World War ll vets. They have benches to sit on,both in the sun & shade. It is a special place that has alot of history. Please remember why you're visiting and be respectful. I will say that our GPS was a little off on the exact location. It is located at the far end of the parking lot for the Florence Center ( the arena).

Aug 28, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat place to admire stories of our nation's finest, walk your dog in a clean and dog-friendly environment, and play Pokémon Go, if you're into that. Lol!
Jul 19, 2026 · Google ReviewAbsolutely a fabulous park! They honor all branches of the service and many conflicts are represented in the 6 acre property. Every year on Veterans Day, something new is added. Unique cultures and Monuments. Nice cement walkway all around. It features a small amphitheater surrounded by commemorative flags. They host several events throughout the year. Very serene and peaceful. 💛
May 29, 2026 · Google ReviewFound myself with an unplanned stay in Florence due to vehicle problems. I stumbled onto this jewel this Memorial Day weekend, and have never been as touched. The artists, artisans, and benefactors should be proud of the concept and execution. The City of Florence, and all South Carolinians honor our country with this must-see tribute to our nation’s military, history, and sacrifice.
